I wanted the highest quality leather and craftsmanship in a strap for my Grand Seiko Shunbun. I loved the digital merchandising of this Australian store and took a punt. I ordered a custom grey suede strap with pastel pink stitching to match the subtle cherry blossom dial. After 3 weeks, the strap arrived and I was blown away by the quality.
Since this great experience, I've now ordered a custom croc strap for my Cartier Santos. I will definitely be going to Artisan for all my straps!
The whole experience with Artisn Straps has been brilliant, initial communication, responsiveness to questions via the chat function, assistance with decisioning and then the short delivery time and ultimately quality of construction were awesome. Plainly evident that this company takes pride in both its work and customer engagement. The strap is awesome, though something to consider (which is by no means a negative reflection on the product) the tapering on the ready-to-wear band of 20mm-16mm can visually make the band look a little small if you have a medium to large wrist. I had it on my 43.5 Bulova and it did not look proportional given the bigger watch face (for my taste). On my Alpinist it worked okay given the smaller sizing, however if you like a bigger band/strap then something to be aware of when ordering. Luckily they offer the custom made solution and you can reduce the taper to 20mm-18mm vs. The standard 16mm...again, this is a good service point!
I ordered the Shrunken Calf strap in green for my SARB. This strap is nothing short of amazing, it is extremely comfortable and pairs greatly with my cream dial SARB. Plus, the delivery was fast and smooth. Would definitely buy again from Artisan.
Was looking for something a bit nicer for my Mr Jones watch I just purchased, so happy I chose Artisan Straps very happy with the amazing quality and service strap arrived in record time and packaged great I also loved the little cloth pouch the strap came in a nice little touch, just cannot recommend them enough, if you’re looking for a high quality strap that’s not going to break the bank this place is for you and I’m always happy to support a small Australia business great stuff guys.
